Dr. Lisa Carswell, C. Psych.

Dr. Carswell graduated from the University of Victoria in 1999 with a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and she completed her clinical training in adult neuropsychology at London Health Sciences Centre. She is a member of the College of Psychologists of Ontario and is registered for practice in the area of Clinical Neuropsychology. Dr. Carswell worked for several years at the Ottawa Hospital, Civic Campus as a Neuropsychologist on the acute-care service and has a breadth of experience in the neuropsychological assessment of various neurological, medical and psychiatric disorders.

More recently, Dr. Carswell worked as a Neuropsychologist on the inpatient Geriatric and Stroke Rehabilitation programs at Elisabeth Bruyere Hospital. Dr. Carswell has been involved in the clinical training and supervision of both pre and post-doctoral students, and she has taught at the graduate level at the University of Ottawa as a Clinical Professor in the School of Psychology. She is a member of the International Neuropsychological Society and the Ontario Psychological Association. Dr. Carswell provides services in the neuropsychological assessment and diagnosis of cognitive dysfunction associated with aging, acquired brain injury, neurological/medical and psychiatric disorders.
