I completed my doctoral degree in clinical psychology at the University of Ottawa and subsequently completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the Ottawa Hospital . My private practice focuses mainly on treatment of chronic illness, chronic pain, mood and anxiety disorders, and other co-morbid conditions. In addition to my private practice work, I provide psychological services in the interdisciplinary Chronic Pain Management Program at the Ottawa Hospital Rehabilitation Centre.
I am actively involved in pain-related research. I have a clinical professor appointment in the School of Psychology and an assistant professor appointment in the Department of Anesthesiology, both at the University of Ottawa. My declared areas of practice are clinical, rehabilitation, and health psychology. I am a member of the College of Psychologists of Ontario, the Canadian Psychological Association, the Canadian Pain Society, and the International Association for the Study of Pain.
