Psychologists / Psychologues
Dr. Alan MacDonald, C. Psych.

Change is a fundamental aspect of human life. Through a gentle and empathic approach, I help adults, families and couples to learn more about themselves, discover their potential to make positive changes, and develop the skills necessary to improve and enrich their lives.

I earned my Ph.D. at Dalhousie University in 2003 and am a registered clinical psychologist with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. I have honed my clinical skills in various programs throughout Canada including the Psychiatric Assessment Service at Foothills Hospital in Calgary, the Anxiety Disorders Clinic at the Queen Elizabeth II Health Sciences Centre in Halifax, the world-renowned Family Therapy Program in Calgary, the Eating Disorders Program at the Ottawa General Hospital, and the Addictions Centre and Dual Diagnosis Clinic in Calgary.

and confidence by each experience in which
we really stop to look fear in the face... We must do that which we think we cannot. "
